At Swami Anand Theertha Trust, we value your trust and generosity. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which donations may be refunded and the process for requesting a refund.

2. General Refund Policy

All donations made to Swami Anand Theertha Trust are considered final and non-refundable, as they are used immediately for our charitable and educational programs. However, we understand that errors can occur.

Important: Donations are eligible for refund only in specific circumstances as outlined below.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be considered in the following situations:

Duplicate transactions: If you were charged multiple times for a single donation due to a technical error.
Unauthorized transactions: If a donation was made without your authorization (subject to verification).
Incorrect donation amount: If you entered an incorrect amount by mistake (e.g., ₹10,000 instead of ₹1,000).
Payment gateway errors: If your account was debited but the donation was not processed successfully.

4. Refund Timeframe

📅 Request Submission Period

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of the donation transaction. Requests received after this period will not be entertained except in exceptional circumstances.

⏳ Processing Time

Once a refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 7-10 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is initiated.

💳 Credit to Account

After processing, the refund will be credited to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Total time from approval to credit: 12-20 business days.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Include the following information: Full name, email address, phone number, transaction ID/reference number, donation amount, date of donation, and reason for refund request.
Attach proof of payment (screenshot or receipt) if available.

6. Non-Refundable Donations

Donations made intentionally and correctly processed
Donations for specific programs or events that have already been utilized
Donations made more than 7 days ago (unless extraordinary circumstances)

7. Refund Method

All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used for the donation. We cannot process refunds to a different account or payment method than the one used for the original transaction.
